An experienced Technical Specialist (infrastructure) role at Stockholm University Library focusing on operation, maintenance, and development of IT environment, especially Windows servers, virtualization, and automation.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant education or equivalent experience recognized by employer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operation and administration of Windows servers
  • Solid experience with complex IT environments, preferably virtualized with VMware
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell and Active Directory
  • Ability to manage and create DNS records, work with certificates, and understand Kerberos authentication
Responsibilities:
  • Operational management and maintenance of Windows Server (2019 and later) and Linux systems
  • Certificate management
  • Patching, updates, and system monitoring
  • Automation using PowerShell
  • Troubleshooting technical issues in systems, networks, and software
  • IT security and proactive measures for stable operation
  • Evaluation and further development of technical solutions
