Technical Integration Specialist for the Systems Integration Section

A role involving technical management and development of the Swedish Armed Forces' integration platforms, covering the entire process from requirements specification with the business units to integration, development and deployment together with the operations team.
Main requirements:
  • Academic degree in information systems, IT or similar relevant field, or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer.
  • At least 3 years of relevant technical IT experience, such as integration management, integration development or system administration/development.
  • Good knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, e.g. Java or C#.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Swedish.
  • Good ability to communicate and comprehend information in English.
Responsibilities:
  • Technical management and development of the Swedish Armed Forces' integration platforms.
  • Working across the entire chain from requirements specification and integration to deployment.
  • Developing and maintaining integrations and system-to-system communication through troubleshooting, modification, installation and deployment.
  • Developing new integrations and improving existing solutions to ensure efficiency and sustainability throughout their lifecycle.
  • Providing user support and documentation.
  • Continuous environmental monitoring to identify new opportunities and ensure systems meet business needs.
  • Collaborating independently within a team and with other units.
Required hard skills:

  • Experience managing complex IT and server environments, preferably in government or large organizations
