Main requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience in data engineering including ETL processes, data integration techniques, data modeling, and pipeline architectures.
  • Fluent in Python and expert in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Metabase, and Looker.
  • Experience with data orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, bash scripting, preferably within AWS environment.
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English are important for effective work in this role.
  • Experience in healthcare and health data engineering is a strong plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL and reverse-ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain the Data Warehouse.
  • Create dashboards, analyses, and reports for various business needs.
  • Ensure data pipelines and warehousing comply with relevant regulations such as GDPR and Patient Data Act.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams, software developers, DevOps, product owners, and decision makers to satisfy the data needs of the business.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the quality and efficiency of data systems.
  • Set guidelines and apply the latest techniques in data engineering, keeping the company updated and on the cutting edge of possibilities.
  • Explore how to improve services and workflows with AI.
