Axis Communications is seeking a Project Manager for their new R&D office in Stockholm to lead product development projects in the Multichannel Products department focused on innovative network video products.
Main requirements:
  • Leadership experience in product development projects involving software, electronics, and mechanics.
  • Strong interest and understanding of the full product development cycle, from idea refinement to mass production.
  • Ability to handle unclear situations and create clarity for teams.
  • Excellent social skills for fostering good team spirit and collaboration.
  • Proficient communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbal and written.
  • Educational background in engineering, preferably a master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant fields.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine product ideas and requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities including planning, risk mitigation, and progress follow-up.
  • Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams towards successful goal completion.
  • Drive solution finding and decision making, including technical aspects.
  • Identify synergies and manage dependencies with other projects.
  • Set realistic yet challenging schedules and inspire the team to meet them.
  • Advocate for project success and meeting tollgate deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas to improve ways of working.
  • Facilitate the creation of well-functioning operations in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the new Stockholm site.
