IT Project Manager

Future People is seeking an IT Project Manager for a government agency in Sundbyberg. As a consultant, you will handle an exciting assignment with a well-known client while continuing to develop your expertise. This role involves leading one or more projects with internal resources, consultants, and business specialists, reporting status to stakeholders, driving progress in a technical project team, and managing day-to-day operations.
Main requirements:
  • University degree (120p/180hp) in IT, technology, computer science, systems science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience as IT project manager handling large complex business projects in network, telecom and/or infrastructure within the last 10 years
  • At least 5 years experience in technically complex IT and business projects collaborating across operations, maintenance, program/project and suppliers
  • At least 3 years experience working in organizations using the PM3 maintenance model and/or other governance models
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, coordinate and manage projects through all phases according to PPS
  • Lead daily work in the technical team and own/update the project schedule
  • Anchor decisions in the organization and ensure handover to operations
  • Responsible for budget, resource allocation and project reporting in Antura
  • Continuously report progress, risks, and actions to steering group and stakeholders
  • Manage suppliers and contracts, procure solutions according to LOU if needed
  • Ensure that internal and external technical/commercial requirements are met for a nationwide communication system
  • Contribute to maintenance plan and budgeting process
