We are looking for a Technical Specialist with strong competence in communication (routing) to join our Data Center team at Göteborgs Stad Intraservice. The role involves working with the operation, maintenance, and development of the city's central IT environment, focusing on internal data center communication. The position offers opportunities to influence solution choices and strategies, working with advanced technologies in a collaborative environment.
Main requirements:
  • Higher education in IT or equivalent competence acquired otherwise
  • Experience with Data Centers in enterprise environments and underlying components such as Linux servers and routing
  • Experience working in projects
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in installation, operation, and maintenance of the data center environment, specifically internal data center communication
  • Work with container technology (Openshift)
  • Manage virtualized server environments (VFC VMware)
  • Support Windows and Linux-based operating systems
  • Manage cloud-based environments (Azure)
  • Handle communication between sites (DWDM)
  • Contribute to choices of technical solutions and strategies
