We are looking for a Data Engineer who embraces AI-driven development workflows, focusing on guiding AI-powered tools to generate code with architectural insight and quality assurance. You'll contribute to modernizing and scaling our veterinary platform used across EMEA, the US, and Australia, primarily utilizing Python and Snowflake.
Main requirements:
- Experience in AI-powered development workflows including chatGPT and tools like cody, cursor, copilot.
- Proficiency in Python (Django preferred) and Java.
- Experience in system architecture and software design.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex product environment.
- Strong communication skills and business understanding, including knowledge of revenue models.
- Experience with maintainable DevOps practices and AWS.
- Passion for animals, veterinary technology, or pet-related industries.
- Willingness to work onsite in Stockholm office and engage socially.
- Interest in working in a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines originally developed in Python.
- Implement AI code flow tools to increase team velocity.
- Contribute to system architecture design to support product growth and modernization.
- Develop business-critical features for managing contracts, transactions, and product recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tech leads, full-stack developers, data scientists, and product owners.
