System Engineer – Operation and Maintenance within TETRA

Join a key role contributing to stable and reliable communication in a critical societal service. LFV is seeking several service-oriented system engineers to work with operation and maintenance of TETRA-related equipment, focusing on quality and safety. This role involves managing the national radio communication system Rakel, ensuring reliable communication for essential societal functions.
Main requirements:
  • At least three years of upper secondary education or equivalent in technology.
  • Experience in transmission technology, radio networks, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with IP networks, firewalls, and routing.
  • Experience working independently in the field with high demands on quality and documentation.
  • B driving license.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Good spoken and written skills in Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install technical equipment independently and in teams.
  • Perform complex fault analysis and resolve different levels of network problems to ensure high system availability.
  • Ensure functionality and availability of Radio, Transmission, and IT equipment.
  • Implement performance improvements and upgrade system hardware and software.
  • Create documentation and technical reports.
  • Maintain close contact with customers and other technical teams.
