Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester with solid manual testing experience, focused on web-based systems validation following a backend database migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL. The role involves full responsibility for verifying core functionalities, business logic, and user experience in a PHP-based user portal post-migration.
Main requirements:
  • Hands-on experience testing enterprise web applications
  • Experience in system or database migrations, preferably Oracle to PostgreSQL
  • Strong functional testing, UI validation, and business rule verification skills
  • Ability to create reusable manual test plans from system requirements and use cases
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Detail-oriented with structured documentation and reporting approach
Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough end-to-end manual testing ensuring application stability post-migration
  • Validate business-critical workflows, form inputs, and system-generated reports via UI
  • Identify and document any functional discrepancies due to data structure or logic changes
  • Execute front-end data validation to confirm accuracy of displayed records
  • Collaborate with developers, database experts, and stakeholders to align testing with requirements
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases with clear reports
