Software Engineering consists of the development, introduction, and application of software to respond to customer requirements and to cost-effectively provide means for analyzing, producing, distributing, and storing information. Independently perform various engineering duties requiring judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices toward set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate complex engineering activities encompassing one or more disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices, business considerations, and potentially legal and other agency requirements. Minimum education and experience requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least six years’ relevant work experience, or another technical degree with more than 15 years of relevant work experience, and working command of the English language.
