Join Vattenfall, a leading European energy company with over 21,000 employees, as a Senior SAP S/4 HANA PPM Functional Consultant. You will be part of an international team supporting the rollout and maintenance of SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) within Vattenfall's greenfield S/4 HANA implementation. This role involves close collaboration with business units to ensure stable, standardized, and business-driven portfolio management processes, contributing to Vattenfall's mission of fossil freedom in the energy sector.
Main requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementation and maintenance of SAP PPM and related modules such as PS or CO
  • Willingness to coordinate or steer smaller projects alongside consultancy and implementation tasks
  • Ability to work both locally and remotely
  • Capability to work hands-on and conceptually as situations require
  • Understanding of business requirements beyond IT
  • Proactive and result-driven attitude
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking
Responsibilities:
  • Elicit and discover business requirements
  • Specify and document requirements with traceability to source
  • Analyze requirements for alignment with business objectives and consistency, challenge as needed
  • Write functional specifications
  • Implement and coordinate changes working with other departments
  • Troubleshoot SAP PPM issues
  • Support business users with SAP PPM related questions and incident handling
  • Train and support key users
  • Participate in ongoing S/4 HANA implementation projects
