As an OTA Operations Engineer at Techster Solutions, you are responsible for maintaining vehicle software updates by creating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing OTA assignments to ensure seamless vehicle connectivity and software updates. The role requires a minimum of 3+ years of automotive industry experience, strong analytical skills, fluency in English and Swedish, and a proactive approach to personal and professional growth. Main requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the automotive industry, focusing on vehicle communication, software updates, and/or vehicle connectivity.
- Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive learning attitude and commitment to professional growth in a technical role.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Proficient in documentation and compliance auditing to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and monitor OTA assignments for vehicle software updates.
- Troubleshoot OTA update failures and fleet anomalies.
- Optimize processes for software updates.
- Ensure seamless vehicle connectivity via OTA.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required hard skills:
- Experience with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, DoIP).
- Knowledge of automotive standards ISO 14229, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 14230, ISO 24089, ISO 26262.
- Experience with OTA/RVDC processes, software lifecycle management, and cloud-based OTA deployment platforms.
- Proficiency in secure communication protocols (TLS, HTTPS), encryption, key management, and secure boot techniques.
- Ability to analyze large vehicle datasets and create reports/dashboards, preferably using Power BI.
- Experience with diagnostic services (session control, security access, data transfer).
- Experience with diagnostic tools like CANalyzer, CANape or PyUDS.
Recommended hard skills:
