The Service Owner at Volvo Trucks Digital Services is responsible for managing one or multiple digital services through their entire lifecycle, driving service vision aligned with customer and business needs, and ensuring customer value and quality. This role includes developing business cases, coordinating development, managing roadmaps and budgets, supporting market adoption, and serving as a key stakeholder internally and externally.
Main requirements:
- A degree in technical or commercial area.
- Demonstrated results in the automotive industry with solid understanding of customer business operations and value creation from services.
- Ability to build trustful relationships and bridge business with technology.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex concepts and inspire others.
- Strong design thinking and holistic perspective on complex situations.
- Solution-oriented mindset, ownership mentality, ability to learn quickly and drive initiatives.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the vision of one or multiple services aligned with customer and business needs.
- Manage the entire service lifecycle including launch, continuous improvement, and sunset.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of partner apps and services consistent with brand strategy.
- Develop business cases and secure operational focus.
- Coordinate development efforts to deliver prioritized features based on customer requirements.
- Manage roadmaps, budgets, and incorporate market input.
- Prioritize feature development and approve releases.
- Ensure documentation and training are complete.
- Represent the service internally and externally.
- Support market adoption and contribute to pricing and packaging strategies.
- Serve as escalation point for service-related issues across global markets.
Required hard skills:
