Senior UX Researcher

As a Senior UX Researcher at Novacura, you will lead user research and usability engineering for a suite of products enabling professionals with limited to no programming skills to create, launch, and manage web & mobile apps without coding. You will ensure high usability and interaction design across products, collaborating closely with web, iOS, and Android development teams as well as data visualization dashboard teams. Responsibilities include planning and leading user research studies, developing user groups, mentoring the UX team, improving UX performance processes, and participating in UX design development.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human computer interaction, interaction design or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in UX Research, usability engineering, UX concept development or similar
  • Proven ability to self-direct work and mentor design professionals
  • Expertise in user-centered design methods, qualitative and quantitative research, and usability evaluation
  • Experience with digital user interface design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Interest or knowledge in software development
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant projects and skills
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead user research studies and usability evaluations
  • Identify and prioritize research needs across products and features
  • Develop and maintain user groups
  • Lead and mentor the UX research and usability engineering team
  • Develop research and usability engineering methods and mentor designers in usability testing and reviews
  • Lead process improvements to enhance UX performance and development efficiency
  • Participate actively in UX design development and provide constructive feedback
