Senior Software Tester

We are looking for a Senior Software Tester to join our dynamic team at Veritaz AB in Stockholm. The role involves taking ownership of the test automation framework built with Squish and Python, designing and maintaining automated test cases, performing manual testing on Linux workstations, and contributing to the verification process within an agile Scrum environment.
Main requirements:
- Strong experience in test automation and test frameworks, particularly with Python and Squish
- Proficiency in Linux environment
- Understanding of full software verification lifecycle, including manual and automated testing
- Experience writing and reviewing test and requirement specifications
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and active participation in Scrum teams
- Ability to quickly adapt and take ownership of existing test frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
- Experience in regulated industries (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the test automation framework built using Squish and Python
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases to ensure product quality and reliability
- Perform manual testing and hands-on verification of software on Linux workstations
- Write and review test specifications ensuring alignment with system requirements
- Contribute to verification process including test planning, execution, and reporting
- Collaborate with team members in Scrum environment to support continuous integration and delivery
- Participate in cross-functional activities such as requirements specification writing and risk analysis
- Provide senior-level testing expertise and guide best practices within Scrum team
