Join a unique and exciting project as a Senior Network Engineer on the Stockholm Bypass tunnel, one of the longest road tunnels in the world. Eltel Networks Infranet AB is partnering with Yunex Traffic, commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration to install telecom, control, and surveillance systems for the new E4 route. As Senior Network Engineer, you will be the system owner for the LCP system installed in the tunnel, overseeing planning, leading and following up with the network team, and managing colleagues onsite. You will also be responsible for technically and economically steering the system design work, coordinating between client, subcontractors and internal teams.
Main requirements:
- At least 5 years practical experience as a network systems engineer
- Strong technical interest and competence in network technology
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid B driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Ensure client requirements for the LCP system are met
- Ensure design, procurement and material deliveries follow the production schedule
- Coordinate all activities related to the LCP system among all parties
- Develop requirements for function, quality and environment in procurement processes
- Support designers to ensure quality in design, documentation and materials
- Participate in and lead work on change orders, disturbances and notifications
- Identify installation risks and inform installation teams proactively
- Create test documentation and participate in testing activities
- Attend meetings with the Swedish Transport Administration regarding LCP components
- Stay updated on technology developments and improve the final outcomes
- Ensure internal support functions meet requirements and expectations
- Conduct network training and contribute IT security knowledge

Recommended hard skills:
- CCIE Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, Level 3
- Broad technical knowledge in electrical, telecom, control and surveillance systems, preferably intelligent traffic systems
