Software Development Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Software Development Maintenance Manager to be a key part of our efficiency and digitalization efforts. Responsible for development, support, and lifecycle management of critical software applications such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jfrog Artifactory, Visual Studio, compilers, and build environments. This role involves working closely with end users, process owners, and partners to support process and system needs related to software development, testing, and verification. The candidate will guide and coordinate change management aligned with business needs in an international, expanding, and innovative defense industry company.
Main requirements:
  • Academic degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Experience in software development and various development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of market-leading software development tools.
  • Ability to advise and inspire internal and external stakeholders on method and process development.
  • Experience from manufacturing industry, especially in design and product development processes, is valued.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for development, support, and lifecycle management of critical software applications.
  • Coordinate and guide business in implementing solutions aligning with needs and requirements.
  • Plan, follow-up, and prioritize cases and handle incidents.
  • Propose new technical solutions and working methods for software development.
  • Work closely with end users, process owners, and partners regarding software development and test support.
  • Collaborate within the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) department and coordinate with subcontractors.
