Modernera AB is recruiting for a Senior Linux Developer for Embedded Systems for an innovative technology company specializing in advanced technical solutions in automotive and industrial automation. The role is hybrid, combining remote work and office work in central Västerås. The position involves full lifecycle development of embedded systems software, collaborating with hardware and software teams.
Main requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience developing for Linux in C using tools like Make and GDB
  • Experience with networking tools such as iproute2, ethtool, tcpdump, and Wireshark
  • Knowledge of network protocols like Ethernet and IP is advantageous
  • Experience with sysrepo, netopeer2 and libyang tools is advantageous
  • Documented experience in kernel development is highly meritorious
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in entire development process from requirements to design, development, testing and implementation
  • Develop embedded software for advanced products
  • Collaborate closely with both hardware and software teams
Required hard skills:
  • Linux development in C
