Join Veritaz AB as a Senior IT Category/Procurement Manager to lead and manage IT sourcing activities, oversee contracts, support negotiations, ensure compliance, and contribute to governance and sourcing strategy development within a dynamic team environment in Stockholm.
Main requirements:
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- 5–10 years of proven experience in IT procurement within large, complex organizations
- Experience negotiating with global software suppliers such as Microsoft
- Strong background in strategic sourcing for IT categories
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven and able to manage projects independently
- Proficiency in business tools for data analysis and presentation
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel approx. 30 days per year
- Based in Stockholm with several days per week onsite presence
Responsibilities:
- Lead and independently manage IT sourcing activities ensuring timely and effective delivery
- Oversee contracts for group-wide applications, infrastructure, software, and cloud services
- Support major contract negotiations and key software renewals in collaboration with Group Technology, R&D, and Software Asset Management teams
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, communicating contract information across the organization
- Participate in governance activities and contribute to operational and functional development
- Clarify financial parameters, cost structures, and accounting methods for contracts
- Support vendor management, supplier development, and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Contribute to developing sourcing strategies and strengthening IT Procurement team capabilities
