Join Terranet AB in Lund as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to develop next-generation urban traffic safety technology using advanced 3D sensor and computer vision algorithms. Lead perception stack development with a focus on real-time object detection, tracking, and safety-critical applications.
Main requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields focused on computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, or robotics.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience developing computer vision algorithms, preferably in automotive or robotics domains.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++ with experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with 3D sensor technologies like event cameras, LiDAR, depth cameras, and point cloud processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills to present technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize perception models for 3D point cloud processing.
  • Design and implement real-time object detection, classification, and tracking algorithms based on 3D data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software and hardware engineers to integrate perception stack into complete systems.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimize for low latency and high accuracy.
  • Keep abreast of latest advances in computer vision, machine learning, and sensor tech to improve the perception stack.
