Voi Technology is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their mission of creating safe, sustainable, and reliable micromobility solutions across Europe. You will be part of a cross-functional team building scalable backend systems that empower users and drive the app experience. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams, engaging in large-scale data processing, and innovating in architecture and tools.
Main requirements:
  • 3+ years as a Senior Engineer building scalable and reliable backend systems
  • Good communication skills and collaboration mindset
  • Experience writing well-structured, testable, reliable, efficient and maintainable code
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical ideas
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS or Azure
  • Experience building microservices architecture systems
  • Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams towards common goals
Responsibilities:
  • Build and design scalable and reliable backend for various products
  • Collaborate closely with peer teams including data, mobile, IoT, design, ML, product, and business partners like marketing and logistics
  • Perform large-scale data processing to analyze user behavior and help define new product features
  • Innovate and drive new ideas regarding architecture, development tools, products, and programming languages
