Drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions including scalable microservices and APIs using Python and Java. Utilize expertise in large language models, vector databases, semantic similarity search, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Collaborate cross-functionally to transform data into actionable insights and develop AI-driven analytics applications.
Main requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in data engineering, backend development, or AI/ML integration
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Java
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform, CodePipeline, AWS Bedrock) and Azure AI Foundry
  • Expertise in vector databases (PGVector/ChromaDB) and semantic similarity search (cosine similarity)
  • Proficient with embedding techniques using Sentence Transformers and OpenAI Embeddings
  • Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Proven API development and data pipeline management skills
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for chatbot customization and interactive interfaces
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize AI-driven applications using Python and Java
  • Build scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems such as chatbots and AI assistants
  • Develop backend APIs and microservices for seamless integration
  • Design and maintain efficient data pipelines integrating structured and unstructured data
  • Use Airflow to orchestrate ETL workflows
  • Develop pipelines for LLM querying, embedding extraction, and metadata processing
  • Ensure data governance, privacy, and security compliance
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS and Azure platforms
  • Collaborate with Platform Engineering to support Kubernetes deployments
  • Implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes with best CI/CD and IaC practices
  • Manage and optimize vector databases for semantic similarity search
  • Collaborate on frontend UI development with JavaScript/TypeScript for chatbot customization and data visualization
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and well-documented
  • Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
