Veritaz AB is seeking a Senior Agile Leader to act as a Release Train Engineer within a Swedish e-Health Authority’s Agile Release Train, managing and optimizing delivery of national digital infrastructure.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar scaled agile leadership role
  • At least 5 years documented experience with SAFe framework at train level, including 24 months within last 3 years
  • 3+ years experience planning and leading large-scale agile events such as PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt
  • Proven coaching experience in scaled agile environments, strong mentoring and facilitation skills
  • Deep understanding and ability to teach lean-agile principles at train and stakeholder levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Swedish
  • Preferred certification: RTE, Scrum Master, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster collaboration across multiple agile teams
  • Experience leading structured continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience coaching managers in scaled agile environments
  • Experience working within public authority, government-owned or regulated organizations
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Release Train Engineer for an Agile Release Train of the Swedish e-Health Authority
  • Manage and optimize end-to-end value flow of the train delivering digital infrastructure
  • Facilitate SAFe ceremonies: PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, system demos ensuring cross-team alignment
  • Promote collaboration among agile teams and relevant stakeholders inside and outside the train
  • Coach agile roles, teams, and stakeholders to adopt and mature agile practices per SAFe and lean-agile principles
  • Track and communicate train-level metrics for transparency and data-driven improvements
  • Identify, escalate, and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments affecting train performance
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts focusing on agile ways of working, flow efficiency, and quality
Required hard skills:
  • Expertise as Release Train Engineer or equivalent scaled agile leadership
  • Deep knowledge of SAFe framework at train level
  • Planning and conducting large-scale agile events (PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt)
  • Agile coaching and mentoring in scaled environments
  • Lean-agile principles application and training
