Coordinate and develop Region Uppsala's systematic data protection and GDPR efforts, ensuring compliance with legislation and supporting various departments in privacy analyses and impact assessments.
Main requirements:
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Relevant university education or equivalent experience
  • Experience in data protection work including systematic data protection in larger organizations
  • Knowledge of GDPR and legal frameworks in data protection
  • Excellent Swedish communication skills, both oral and written
Responsibilities:
  • Revise and develop Region Uppsala's systematic data protection work to meet new technologies, requirements, and risks
  • Work closely with departments to support the creation of data protection analyses and impact assessments
  • Develop governing and supporting documents for Region Uppsala's data protection systems
  • Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer (DSO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategically and long-term contribute to guidelines and support for various departments
  • Potential assignment in crisis and war leadership
  • Work within the security and preparedness unit responsible for several security areas including data protection
