The position is within the Applications unit, which supports the university by simplifying work methods and acting as a catalyst for digital transformation. The System Developer will work on web-based applications throughout the development cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing, and deployment. Agile methods, Git for version control, and Jira for issue tracking are used.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent as assessed by employer.
  • Good experience in Java development and one reactive JavaScript framework.
  • Experience integrating systems via REST-API.
  • Structured working approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Proficient communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop web-based applications across the full development lifecycle: requirements collection, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Work both independently and as part of teams in different systems and projects.
  • Use agile methodologies for software development.
  • Manage code versions with Git and track tasks/issues in Jira.
