Security Protection Specialist

A Security Protection Specialist leads and develops the security protection work at the Swedish Agency for Digital Government, ensuring the agency's and Sweden's ability to manage unforeseen crises and war. This includes collaboration with internal and external actors, security clearance processes, policy development, and crisis preparedness.
Main requirements:
  • Significant experience working with security protection analyses, special protection assessments, and security protection plans.
  • Significant experience working with personnel security.
  • Significant experience with security protection agreements and secure procurement (SUA).
  • Good experience in physical security.
  • Good experience in information security.
  • Experience from public sector work.
  • Experience with contingency planning.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish preparedness system.
  • Good knowledge of signals protection.
  • Knowledge of Rakel and radio cooperation.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the agency's security protection work closely with the Security Protection Manager.
  • Conduct baseline investigations and security clearance interviews.
  • Collaborate with the agency's procurement unit regarding security protection agreements and secure procurement (SUA).
  • Coordinate with agencies within the contingency sector for Basic Data Supply and other relevant authorities.
  • Work on signals protection.
  • Develop and maintain policies, guidelines, checklists, routines, and other support documents.
  • Respond to referrals.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and training.
  • Participate in other tasks within the security unit.
