Join Hitachi Energy's Network & Control development team as a server developer in Västerås. Collaborate closely with other developers, product owners, architects, and testers to develop cutting-edge power grid software used in crucial infrastructure with real-time operations. Contribute to software that balances long-term durability, efficiency, and security.
Main requirements:
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant education.
- Experience with software security requirements, standards, and design.
- Proficiency in Windows, C, C++, Linux, and C#.
- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written; Swedish proficiency is an advantage.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, git, and microservices.
- Experience in industrial software development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain systems for mission-critical supervision and control.
- Continuously improve existing solutions and maintain functionality.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing.
- Verify requirements through reviews and demos with stakeholders.
- Collaborate within a team to help customers achieve targets in reliability, safety, and environment.
