The Swedish Armed Forces seeks a Project Manager to lead IT platform implementation projects, ensuring successful transition to new technical solutions through cross-functional collaboration. The role demands planning, coordinating, decision-making, and working closely with stakeholders to achieve timely, quality results.
Main requirements:
- Completed university or college education in IT or equivalent experience deemed comparable by the Swedish Armed Forces
- Several years of documented experience in project or management leadership
- Documented experience in security protection and information security
- Experience planning and implementing transitions to new IT systems and work methods/processes
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and English
- Swedish citizenship
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the transition of current applications and work methods to new technical solutions
- Ensure acceptance criteria are met
- Develop plans and approaches
- Prioritize, coordinate, and make decisions
- Collaborate closely with clients, resource owners, and other project managers
- Work independently and solution-oriented within an experienced and professional team
