Lead the management and development of critical PLM applications, supporting design and product development within an international defense industry company.
Main requirements:
  • Academic degree in computer or system science, or completed higher education/civil engineering in mechanics/electronics with IT and business development interest
  • Experience in manufacturing industry processes, especially design, product development, and model-based methods
  • Experience with Aras Innovator or other PLM systems including CAD and production-systems interfaces is meritorious
  • Experience with agile methodologies is desirable
  • Strong personal drive and responsibility
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Delivery and goal orientation
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Manage development, support and lifecycle of critical PLM, CAD, and Systems Engineering applications with Aras Innovator as central system
  • Work closely with end-users, process owners, and partners for process and system support
  • Plan, follow up and prioritize tasks/cases, manage incidents, and propose new solutions and work methods
  • Ensure IT systems are optimized, effective, stable and secure
  • Participate in a Shared Service department delivering IT and related services to Swedish business units
  • Coordinate development, improvement initiatives and support for applications and services
  • Travel occasionally to BAE Systems offices within Sweden
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with Aras Innovator PLM system or other PLM systems
  • Knowledge of CAD and production-related system integrations
  • Academic background in IT, data systems, or engineering (mechanical/electrical)
