A postdoctoral research position focusing on advanced wireless MIMO communication technology for 6G networks at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Main requirements:
- PhD degree or foreign equivalent (completed by time of employment decision)
- Proven research skills demonstrated by at least three top-tier scientific journal publications
- Good oral and written English skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical research in physical and medium access control layers of 6G MIMO technology
- Develop new communication theories, concepts, and algorithms related to Gigantic MIMO, cell-free networks, near-field communication, or ISAC
- Collaborate within the research group and with industry partners
- Contribute to the research environment by mentoring doctoral students and sharing knowledge
Required hard skills:
- Strong research background in MIMO communication
- Experience publishing in high-impact scientific journals, especially IEEE transactions or equivalent
- Knowledge of communication theory, machine learning, signal processing, and/or optimization methods
Recommended hard skills:
- Familiarity with Gigantic MIMO, cell-free networks, near-field communication, or ISAC techniques
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
