IT System Technician

As an IT System Technician, you will work within a modern IT environment supporting around 100 servers and 2000 clients, focusing on Microsoft-based systems. You will participate in planning, operating, and developing a complex IT infrastructure with high demands for security and availability, mainly managing business and underlying IT systems.
Main requirements:
  • Structured working approach and eagerness to develop collaboratively
  • Good knowledge in some focus areas such as Windows Server, IIS, MS-SQL, networking, and IT security
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and good understanding of English manuals and documentation
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks and work well in a qualified team with multiple contacts across IT department and users
  • Willingness to undergo security clearance and provide a police record extract prior to employment
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in planning, operation, and development of a modern municipal IT infrastructure
  • Manage and support business-critical IT systems and underlying systems
  • Perform tasks ranging from troubleshooting and investigations to user support within a small organization
  • Ensure service and maintenance of IT services meet agreed service levels
