Nordlo Växjö & Ljungby AB, with over 900 employees across Sweden and Norway, is looking for an experienced and engaged Network Technician specializing in datacenter and core network environments, based in Växjö.
Main requirements:
  • Strong experience as a network technician with expertise in routing, switching, and firewalls in business-critical environments.
  • Experience with advanced network design, troubleshooting and optimization in datacenter and core networks.
  • Ability to handle complex network environments with redundancy, security, and performance enhancement.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing, due to customer interactions.
  • Possession of a B driving license.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain, optimize, and develop central network infrastructure in datacenter and core network environments.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and implement security improvements.
  • Plan and execute strategic network projects.
  • Provide customer-facing technical support and consulting.
Required hard skills:
  • Deep technical knowledge in network design, installation, configuration, and support in critical business environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, network protocols, redundancy, and security principles.
  • Experience configuring and managing firewalls and security functions like VPN, IPS/IDS, and segmentation.
  • Basic understanding of server environments and virtualization platforms such as Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
  • Service-oriented and solution-focused approach with ability to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Linux and Linux network administration.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, NSE, or equivalents.
  • Experience with multiple major network vendors including Cisco, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, or Juniper.
  • Knowledge of SDN, network automation, and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, Bash).
  • Experience with network performance monitoring and analysis.
