Main requirements:
  • Education in network technology or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a network technician
  • Class B driving license
  • Swedish citizenship and a clean criminal record to meet security protection law requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, develop, and upgrade systems to ensure networks and systems meet the highest security and functional standards
  • Troubleshoot network issues and analyze logs
  • Manage and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technology
  • Contribute to building and managing Saab’s network infrastructure with world-class security focus
  • Participate in assignments ranging from cloud migration of server environments to firewall upgrades
Required hard skills:
  • Network operations and management
  • Network equipment handling (switches, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs)
  • Network troubleshooting and log analysis
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with security and firewalls such as Checkpoint and Fortinet
  • Scripting and automation knowledge
  • Certifications and/or experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Citrix, and F5
  • Experience working according to ITIL and ISO 27001
