Our client is now looking for a newly graduated IT Security Engineer to join a dynamic team in Malmö. The client is a leading company in marine technology specializing in development of surface vessels and submarines, operating worldwide with colleagues on all continents. They continuously develop new technology for a safer society and currently seek a new graduate interested in information security and IT.
Main requirements:
  • Recently graduated with a post-secondary education in system science, computer engineering, IT or equivalent
  • Swedish and English proficiency in both speech and writing
  • Swedish citizenship
Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and apply governmental requirements and laws related to submarine construction
  • Identify and ensure compliance with IT and information security requirements
  • Document and follow up all security-related activities and decisions
  • Support IT architects and system engineers through the entire development phase, including configuration of firewalls and other security systems
  • Participate in the verification process and contribute to final documentation submitted to the client
Required hard skills:
  • Knowledge of IT and information security principles
  • Ability to interpret legal and governmental requirements related to IT security
  • Configuration of security systems such as firewalls
Recommended hard skills:
  • Previous work experience in information security

  • Structured and organized approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a project overview
