Network Analyst

Vattenfall AB seeks a Network Analyst for long-term local network planning to support the company's energy transition goals with high reliability and capacity expansion. The role involves strategic network development, design, calculations, and project management within the electricity distribution network.
Main requirements:
- Higher education in electrical engineering or equivalent, preferably with focus on power systems.
- Interest in infrastructure issues within electricity distribution.
- Preferably programming experience.
- Work experience in power industry with tasks in network planning and studies.
- Analytical and responsible with a high drive.
- Ability to solve technical and economic problems.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the strategic/long-term network development in a geographic area.
- Develop network solutions for renewal and adaptation to societal needs and regulatory requirements, including supply quality.
- Perform network calculations and dimensioning for new constructions and modifications.
- Conduct technical and economic calculations for network change proposals.
- Perform risk and consequence analyses in the distribution network.
- Lead projects related to large customer connections.
- Participate in internal development projects.
