IT Test Lead

VR Sverige AB is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Test Lead to take comprehensive responsibility for their testing activities. The role includes full-stack testing from method and tool selection to hands-on testing, leading and developing the testing operations, managing requirements, test processes, tools, and workflows. The Test Lead also drives technical projects and implementations, ensuring high-quality standards in testing while acting as a key link between IT and the business.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in test leadership and technical project management
  • Experience in requirements management and test leadership in complex system environments
  • Deep understanding of application and system architecture
  • Good knowledge of various test methods, tools, and test automation
  • Relevant higher education in IT, computer science or similar
  • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both oral and written
Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning, design, coordination, and execution of test strategies for various systems and applications
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing for systems, applications, interfaces, and integrations
  • Responsible for test tools, test automation, and method selection
  • Identify risks, suggest improvements, and implement best practices in testing
  • Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into test cases, and ensure quality
  • Establish and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation
