As a project manager, you will lead large, technically complex multidisciplinary projects, coordinating internal and external deliveries, ensuring compliance with contracts, budgets, and schedules, and building long-term customer relationships with a pragmatic and business-focused approach. You will work across various sectors including new and growing areas where our technical expertise drives real change. The role demands teamwork, strong relationship building, and a positive, solution-oriented project culture. You will lead projects within Sweden and the Nordics primarily from our Nynäshamn office with possible travel.
Main requirements:
  • Background in industry and automation or related fields such as automotive or industrial IT/Digitalization.
  • Understanding of industrial processes and technical systems.
  • Ability to manage and interpret large business agreements.
  • Pragmatic and business-oriented personality, confident in negotiations and building long-term relationships.
  • Driving license (B) as travel is part of the job.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and project environments balancing diverse interests diplomatically and strategically.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead large, innovative multidisciplinary projects combining several industrial disciplines.
  • Coordinate internal deliveries and manage external projects ensuring compliance with contracts, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with customers with a business-focused and pragmatic approach.
  • Represent AFRY professionally and clearly in project environments.
  • Work in diverse projects including private and public sectors and emerging fields driven by industrial solutions.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative project culture focusing on teamwork and solution-oriented approaches.
  • Manage projects both within Sweden and Nordic countries, with possible international assignments.
Required hard skills:

  • Experience handling large business agreements.
