Techster Solutions is currently in an exciting growth phase and is seeking colleagues, initially someone with at least 4+ years of experience to strengthen the team. The client is seeking one senior project manager to lead an extensive IT security project consisting of multiple subprojects. The project is owned by the head of the IT security unit and is already initiated; the new project manager will replace an existing one moving to another area. The assignment starts ASAP and lasts up to 24 months. Responsibilities include leading the project to meet goals, coordinating, supporting, writing decision basis, budgeting, scheduling, and following up on activities with project owner and steering group. The consultant must collaborate well, simplify complex issues, and hold high standards. Required knowledge includes security protection legislation and project leadership related to this. Experience must include leading and evaluating large IT technical projects over the last 5 years, and having responsible for at least one project lasting over one year including evaluation. Main requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Current knowledge of security protection legislation and its application in project management.
  • Experience leading, completing, and evaluating large IT technical projects in the last 5 years.
  • Having been responsible for at least one project exceeding one year from start to evaluation.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive the execution of an extensive IT security project and its subprojects.
  • Lead the project to achieve set results and goals.
  • Coordinate and support project activities.
  • Prepare decision documents based on project needs.
  • Develop and manage budget and timelines.
  • Follow up on activities in collaboration with project owners and steering groups.
