System Technician Log Management

The Swedish Armed Forces is seeking system technicians to manage IT systems, focusing on log management, system administration, troubleshooting, and backup handling. Main requirements:
  • At least secondary education with IT focus or equivalent knowledge as assessed by the Swedish Armed Forces
  • Experience with Linux servers
  • Good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Class B driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain IT systems for the Swedish Armed Forces
  • Troubleshoot system issues
  • Handle log flows and system logging
  • Manage system backups
Required hard skills:
  • Linux server experience
  • Log management and handling
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience designing IT system log management
  • Experience with Windows Server
  • Experience with log collection, storage, indexing, enrichment, and analysis
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, Elasticsearch, Beats, Logstash, Apache Kafka, Sysmon or similar technologies
