ILS Engineer for Missile Systems

As an ILS Engineer at Saab Dynamics, you will work with Integrated Logistics Support within the development department. You participate in various development projects ensuring system functionality and ease of maintenance throughout the lifecycle. The goal is to create sustainable, user-friendly systems that require minimal maintenance and reduce costs. You collaborate closely with other experts to develop optimal solutions balancing quality and cost. You may work with products related to the RBS-15 missile and its variants, including maintenance and new development, with a lifecycle perspective. The role also involves development of next-generation missile systems.
Main requirements:
  • Technical education (at least Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • Several years of professional experience in ILS, maintenance technology, production technology, or similar areas
Responsibilities:
  • Work within development projects to ensure smooth system operation and ease of maintenance over the system's lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with experts across the company to develop optimal, cost-effective solutions
  • Focus on user-friendliness and understanding system usage
  • Possibly work with RBS-15 missile products and their variants from maintenance to new development
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation missile systems with a lifecycle perspective
Required hard skills:
