Join a new monitoring function in Borås to ensure availability, stability, and rapid recovery of technical services within a complex infrastructure environment for one of Sweden's largest food retail players.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in operations monitoring in a complex IT environment
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SCOM, Grafana, SolarWinds)
  • Understanding of networks, databases, and backup solutions
  • Knowledge of automation related to monitoring
  • Experience with incident management systems, preferably ServiceNow
  • Experience working according to ITIL framework (certification meritorious)
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze technical alerts from servers, networks, databases, and communications to ensure incidents are handled per process
  • Perform technical troubleshooting, resolve incidents, and contribute to root cause analyses
  • Conduct daily IT routine checks according to SOP and document in incident management systems
  • Act as Incident Manager during major disruptions and coordinate with internal and external teams
  • Identify improvement opportunities in monitoring, recovery routines, and tool usage
