Microsoft 365 Governance Leader

Lead and coordinate the management of Microsoft 365 applications, driving digitalization, efficiency, and automation within the company. Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure optimized, stable, and secure IT systems supporting business needs.
Main requirements:
  • Planning, coordinating and driving improvement initiatives related to Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Lifecycle management of critical business systems connected to Microsoft 365.
  • Lead and coordinate governance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Plan, follow up, and prioritize issues; manage incidents; propose new solutions and working methods within Microsoft 365.
  • Close collaboration with end users, process owners and suppliers.
  • Drive change management and guide the business in adopting solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Travel occasionally to company offices within Sweden.
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Security clearance and drug tests required due to defense sector regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the governance and management of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Drive digital transformation and efficiency improvements related to the digital workplace.
  • Manage incidents and support for Microsoft 365 applications ensuring system stability, efficiency, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Coordinate and guide business units during implementation of new IT solutions and changes.
  • Work within the Digital Workplace function of the Information Management & Technology department, serving BAE Systems business units in Sweden.
Required hard skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its applications (Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Experience in IT governance or similar management roles related to digital workplaces.
  • Experience with lifecycle management of IT systems.
  • Knowledge of information security and compliance in Microsoft environments.
  • Experience in hybrid IT environments.
  • Ability to manage incidents, prioritize tasks and propose IT improvements.
  • Proficient Swedish and English language skills (spoken and written).
Recommended hard skills:
  • Academic degree related to IT or management.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Familiarity with defense industry IT requirements and security practices.
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools and digital workplace technologies.
