Seeking an experienced Linux server operations engineer for a client in Gothenburg. The role involves managing and developing the client's technical solutions, focusing on system availability and security, automation, and efficiency. Main requirements:
  • Several years of experience in Linux server operations
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python
  • Strong security awareness and technical interest
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Valid B-driving license as travel within Sweden may be required
  • Swedish citizenship and ability to pass security clearance (due to classified assignment)
Responsibilities:
  • Drive standardization, efficiency, and automation of systems and working methods
  • Participate in projects related to the client's technical platform
  • Perform operational tasks in the support and operations team, including troubleshooting, installations, and ongoing support
  • Manage patching and upgrades in the server environment
  • Be a key player in continuous technical development, efficiency improvements, and enhancements
