Lead the Systems Engineering department at Hitachi Energy globally. Inspire and guide the team to deliver excellence in systems engineering processes, tools, and support for HVDC projects worldwide. Manage recruitment, development, and team engagement. Drive process standardization and continuous improvement.
Main requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering, Systems Technologies, or related field
  • Experience as a people manager or relevant leadership with personnel responsibility, preferably in a dynamic global organization
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Systems Engineering in a large organization
  • Experience with Systems Engineering standards such as ISO/IEEE/IEC 15288
  • Experience in developing and implementing Systems Engineering process frameworks
  • Structured, well-organized, confident leadership capabilities
  • Strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and development, planning, monitoring, and appraisal of team members
  • Build and coach team to maintain a positive and safe workplace
  • Champion Systems Engineering within the organization and build trust in processes
  • Plan and evaluate actions to meet goals and enforce systems, policies, and productivity standards
  • Define objectives, set strategic goals, assess outcomes
  • Manage budgets, time and cost estimations, and resource allocation
  • Liaise with stakeholders to promote cross-functional collaboration and transparency
