We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to develop a multi-brand vision camera platform for automotive applications. The role involves working in an agile team to develop embedded Linux software focused on camera-based image processing pipelines and video streaming protocols.
Main requirements:
- Work in agile team environment
- Strong expertise in IP camera technologies and video streaming protocols
- Proven embedded software development experience on Linux
- Strong background in video processing and pipeline architecture
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain embedded software for vision camera systems
- Implement Ethernet communication protocols for IP cameras
- Design networking features like DHCP, VLAN, ipconfig, multicast/unicast for embedded Linux applications
- Manage video streaming protocols such as SOME/IP, RTP, and RTSP
- Implement and optimize video processing pipelines including H.264 encoding and decoding
- Handle synchronization and multiple video feed streaming
Required hard skills:
- Embedded software development on Linux
- Knowledge of IP camera technologies
- Expertise in video streaming protocols (SOME/IP, RTP, RTSP)
- Video processing and pipeline architecture
- Networking protocols (DHCP, VLAN, multicast/unicast)
