As a Pega Lead System Architect (Pega LSA) / qualified system developer in the Systems Development department, you take overall technical responsibility and ownership of the Pega platform at FI. The role involves being part of an agile team working on maintenance, further development, and new development of systems and components within the team's area of responsibility. This position primarily focuses on configuration and development of the Pega platform but may also include development in .NET as part of the role.
You will work closely with the business, other agile IT teams, and external suppliers. You are responsible for the entire chain from requirements, design, and architecture to development, testing, and deployment. As the technical lead for the Pega platform at FI, you work with setting overarching technical and architectural strategy for the Pega platform, reviewing implementations to ensure they follow Pega best practices, and mentoring other Pega developers.
Main requirements:
- Certified Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) or equivalent/higher certification
- Experience with overall technical responsibility for Pega implementations and teams
- Basic experience with databases and SQL
- Good command of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
Responsibilities:
- Take overall technical responsibility and ownership of the Pega platform at Finansinspektionen
- Work in an agile team with maintenance, further development, and new development of systems and components
- Configure and develop the Pega platform, including potential .NET development
- Collaborate closely with business units, other agile IT teams, and external suppliers
- Responsible for requirements, design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment
- Set technical and architectural strategies for the Pega platform
- Review implementations to ensure adherence to Pega best practices
- Mentor other Pega developers
Required hard skills:
- Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) certification or higher
- Experience managing Pega implementations with technical responsibility
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- Swedish and English proficiency (oral and written)
Recommended hard skills:
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant technical field or equivalent knowledge
- Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification
- Experience in C# and .NET development
- Experience with React or similar frameworks
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of integration and APIs
- Experience operating and managing technical system platforms
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Continuous Delivery pipelines
- Knowledge of agile working methods and SAFe framework
- Experience in finance sector and/or public sector
