A part-time lab assistant position for the summer, working with a development team on a prototype system for CT imaging, involving testing and data collection. Flexible work hours based on availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends.
Main requirements:
- Technical background with at least one year of technical university studies (no degree required)
- Availability during summer months June, July, August
- Ability to work independently after introduction
- Positive and flexible attitude towards working with prototypes and a fast-changing environment
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging using medical phantoms on a prototype computed tomography (CT) system
- Calibrate the prototype system before imaging
- Manage data including storage, copying, and transfer of image material
- Possibly assist with image reconstruction and image processing depending on interests and skills
