As an IT Security Specialist at the Security Protection Department, you will conduct audits and controls of internal and external information systems with IT security function requirements. Your role involves working independently and collaboratively to support system owners in developing secure systems, ensuring IT security demands are met through review and control activities. You will contribute to the creation of regulations and guidelines in the IT security and broader security protection area, provide training internally and externally, and engage in national and international matters by representing the function in collaborations and expert groups. The position offers the opportunity to influence and develop work in a rapidly growing field related to legislation and standards. The role is based in Stockholm with domestic and international travel.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education focused on information or IT security or equivalent competence recognized by FMV
  • Several years of current experience working with complex IT security issues in governmental or large organizational settings
  • Experience applying various regulations and standards in information security work
  • Knowledge of legislation related to security and security protection areas
  • Ability to interpret and apply security protection and IT security regulations
  • Knowledge of complex IT communication and security architectures, accreditation models, and governmental guidelines
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Possession of a B driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and controls of internal and external information systems regarding IT security requirements
  • Support internal and external system owners in developing secure systems
  • Contribute to the formulation of IT security and security protection regulations and guidelines
  • Provide training to internal and external recipients in IT security and security protection areas
  • Monitor technology and market developments relevant to IT security
  • Advise on IT security matters
  • Participate in national and international collaborations and expert groups representing the security protection function
