An experienced and driven IT Project Manager to lead and participate in digitalization projects at Karlstad Municipality, focusing on IT system procurement and digital development initiatives including data management and AI.
Main requirements:
- Relevant academic education or equivalent experience
- Project management education preferred
- Proven experience leading large IT system implementations
- Strong planning and project follow-up skills
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written
- Ability to see the big picture and build trustful relationships
- Professional and responsible attitude in internal and external contacts
- Social and enjoys working in a team
Responsibilities:
- Lead an ongoing procurement project for a social services management system involving multiple departments
- Manage leadership for several sub-projects of various nature
- Participate in digital development initiatives focusing on data management and AI
- Develop methods, processes and routines related to project work
- Plan and lead workshops
Required hard skills:
- Project management in IT system implementations
- Planning and monitoring projects
- Communication in Swedish
- Experience with public sector IT procurement procedures (LOU)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Familiarity with frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, ITIL
- Change management
