Data Analytics Expert for Know Your Customer (KYC)

Nordea is seeking a Data Analytics Expert to join their KYC Change Management team. This permanent position supports the development of a new strategic KYC solution, the Global KYC Tool, crucial for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF). The expert will create data models, support business needs translation into data solutions, drive requirements, coordinate teams, and own data products within KYC.
Main requirements:
- Understanding and knowledge of data road maps, data strategy guidelines, and data architecture.
- Good understanding of dimensions, transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, Operational Data Stores (ODS), Master Data Management (MDM) methodologies, life cycles, ETL and MDM technologies.
- Understanding of data quality and data management processes.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create guidelines for integrations on data consumption and drive requirements for delivery teams for end-to-end execution.
- Coordinate with data consumers to translate requirements to technical teams and support delivery.
- Develop data solutions aligned with Nordea and KYC's data strategy and architecture guidelines, present for approval.
- Lead working groups of business and IT stakeholders for requirements and implementation.
- Coordinate with developers and testers by guiding solution walkthroughs and supporting implementation.
- Create data specifications and support report development to meet solution requirements.
- Represent KYC in strategic initiative forums and align outcomes with the KYC roadmap as needed.
- Own and support various data products and data domain API designs and implementations within KYC.
- Elaborate and document the KYC Data Strategy.
Required hard skills:
- Data road maps and data strategy expertise.
- Data architecture knowledge.
- Experience with transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies, ETL and MDM technologies.
- Data quality and data management processes knowledge.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience recommending data maintenance tactics for slowly changing dimensions.
- Knowledge of data roll-off and archival planning.
- Basic understanding of GDPR rules for data deletion and archival of personal data.
- Experience using data modeling tools such as SQLDBM, Erwin, or equivalent.
- Understanding of database storages like Hadoop and Cloud.
